The Science Education Center, Urban Camp, and Scholarship Program are funded by the generosity of many contributors. The annual Invitational Golf Outing, however, is a major fund-raising event for these ministries. Mark your calendar to join us on Thursday, June 23, 2011 at our new venue, Evergreen Golf Club in Elkhorn, WI. (See the registration page for more details.) We are pleased to announce that the legendary sports-talk show host Steve "The Homer" True has once again graciously offered his time to emcee this event!

If you are not a golfer but would still like to support the ministries, we are offering a special Speakers Series Seminar during the afternoon. LinkedIn expert and author of ”The Power Formula for LinkedIn Success”, Wayne Breitbarth, will be our featured speaker from 2:00 – 3:30pm in the dining room of the Evergreen clubhouse. Wayne has entertained and inspired audiences across the country by sharing his passion for this fast-growing social marketing tool. After the seminar, we invite you to join us for the dinner program, raffle and live and silent auctions. The Science Education Center

The Science Education Center’s 16,000 square foot building is located on Timber-lee Christian Center’s 600+ acres. A vision of many supporters, it was built as a teaching facility for people of all ages to experience the wonders of the universe. Eager to discover what occurred when God created the Heavens and Earth? We suggest a stroll through the seven-room Creation Walk. One of our most popular learning experiences, the Creation Walk was opened in early 2004 and has seen over 20,000 guests. Designed to review Genesis I, the Walk is enhanced by a trained guide, automated narration and visual effects. Enjoy a custom-designed “Talk With the Animals,” or programs such as Dino Dig, Science Fair, etc. In addition, take advantage of our various day camps that focus on subjects such as astronomy, chemistry and life science. Urban Camp Ministries

Timber-lee Christian Center has been involved for over 50 years in providing scholarships for its annual summer Urban Camp Week program. This program is designed for urban churches/ministries to provide children grades 4-8 a week-long camping experience at Timber-lee. The children participate in spiritual challenges, skill learning programs and recreational events under the guidance of caring, trained counselors. The Camp offers these children a safe, nurturing environment where they can develop new friendships while learning about God’s love and His Word. Learn more

Scholarship Program

Last year Timber-lee awarded $60,000 in scholarships to camper families in need. We are honored that we serve along with our many donors who want to see kids have a dynamic camp experience.
