Becoming a Sponsor

We had 24 sponsors at the Major to Bronze sponsorship levels for the 2010 Invitational Golf Outing along with some other individual donors. Many of these contributors were repeat sponsors but we were blessed with some new donors as well. In addition, we had numerous donors for the draffle, silent and live auction items. We extend our deepest gratitude to everyone for their generous gifts.

In 2011 we will once again have a Corporate Tent. The tent provides a venue for all sponsors who contribute to the outing. Please consider taking advantage of one of the following opportunities:

• Each $500+ sponsor (Major, Platinum & Gold) will have its own table to use for corporate displays (brochures, business cards, promotional/marketing items etc.). The sponsor's name will be prominently displayed on the table.
• All $300-$499 sponsors (Silver) will combine their corporate displays on a single table (or tables, depending on the number of sponsors). Names of the Silver sponsors will be listed on a sign at the table(s).
• Donors giving less than $300 will be recognized with a sign listing all their names.

The Corporate Tent will be open throughout the day for networking with fellow golfers and sponsor representatives. Beverages and appetizers will be served in the tent from 3:30 - 4:15 p.m.

Other sponsorship recognitions remain the same as in the past, including:

All Major, Platinum, Gold, and Silver donors have the sponsor’s name prominently displayed on a tee or green. They also receive special mention in the official event program. Major, Platinum and Gold sponsors have their name displayed on the sponsor board at Camp. The Major and Platinum levels also receive special recognition at the lunch ceremony, as noted sponsors of skill events at the outing and as sponsors of Science Center events. They also have the opportunity to take a personalized Creation Walk tour with a group of twenty guests. If they choose, Major sponsors also can put a link to their website on the golf4timberlee website. Each Major sponsorship includes one foursome and four "No Hassle Packages."

If you are interested in having the privilege of helping children experience Timber-lee who may not otherwise hear the Word of God, please consider the following:

Major Sponsor - $2,500 and above

By contributing a minimum of $2,500, Major Sponsors make a dream come true for 8 children. This amount covers the cost of sending them to Urban Camp for a week with enough left over so each of them can experience the Creation Walk or work on a project in the Craft Shop.

Platinum Sponsor - $1,000 to $2,499

Platinum Sponsors walk away with the knowledge they are providing scholarships for 3 children to attend Urban Camp. All of those children can also go horseback riding and test their skills on the Climbing Tower.

Gold Sponsor - $500 to $999

This contribution will enable one child to attend Urban Camp, plus join in a variety of activities that include horseback riding, creating a special gift in the Leather Shop or experiencing the Creation Walk.

Silver Sponsor - $300 to $499

Although this contribution falls just short of the cost of a scholarship, it will cover activities for a number of kids whose camp fees are already underwritten. For example, six children can go horseback riding, tackle the High Ropes, participate in Talk With the Animals and work in the Leather Shop.

Bronze Sponsor - $100 to $299

This was a new sponsorship level in 2010, and it was a huge success! As a Bronze sponsor, your contribution will support campers who want to participate in such activities as Talk With the Animals or working in the Leather Shop.
